X-23 by James Ghio
I know it’s a cliche thing to say about professional wrestling nowadays, the “LOLCENAWINS” and the Super Cena comments, and I know that his marketing isn’t for someone like me, and I honestly respect him for the work that he does for Make-A-Wish and other organizations, which is amazing, but when I see him in the ring…I just cannot take it anymore. It just feels like I’m watching the last six-seven years all over again, and it to the point where I’m just done.
Which is where the love for CM Punk comes into play. Every match feels fresh, unique, built upon brick by brick from the encounters before, telling a story that is all encompassing and involving. No one works a crowd in this industry like CM Punk does right now, perhaps no one has worked a crowd better than he has in the history of the business, and while he may not be the face of the company, making talk show appearances and doing all the photo op material, that’s not what he does. What he does is wrestle.
And he is the best in the world at what he does.
